Meet Jenn

I grew up in the country with my parents and two older brothers. I just love the country with the fresh air and all the trees. My Mom and I would go down in the woods and dig up the peat moss for her flower gardens. I always played in her flower gardens and picked flowers, pretending to have a flower shop. The funny thing is that I eventually became a floral designer and managed a flower shop. During those years, I developed skills and a passion for flowers and design. To this day, I love making flower arrangements, decorating our home, and planning the decorations for our parties. I'm a sucker for all things sentimental and have saved all the special cards given to me as well as most of the roses Brian has given me. I love animals, especially dogs and horses. We had an Arabian horse named Lightning when I was growing up.

He was so beautiful when he ran, and I can still picture him running across the field with his head held high and mane flowing. There is something so calming about a horse. Dogs are the same. I had the opportunity to be a volunteer puppy raiser for an organization that trains dogs for the blind, and we currently have three out working. It brought joy to my heart seeing these furbaby's I raised being a second pair of eyes for someone.

I lost 2 of my grandparents when I was young, and my Dad's father passed away when dad was a boy, so it was my Grandma D. who I was close with. She taught me to play the flute and hooked on old movies with Debbie Renolds, Doris Day, and many others. To this day, they are my go-to movies!

I have wanted to adopt since I was a kid, and It brought my heart great joy to walk this journey and finally meet my daughter. I can not wait to welcome the rest of the children God has in

store for us. Her stepfather adopted my

Grandma S., and one of my cousins was adopted by her step Dad too, so adoption is close to the heart on my side of the family.

I am a born-again Christian and have a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus.

My relationship with Him is the most important thing to me. My hope and prayer are that our children choose on their own to have a

relationship with Him as well.

I would describe myself as a serious, deep thinker who loves to have fun. I am sentimental and thrive on being creative. I love working with kids and teens and enjoy leading the music for our church's vacation bible school, being crazy. I am a born again Christian having a relationship with God through His Son Jesus. My relationship with Him is the most important thing to me. My hope and prayer are that our children choose on their own to have a

relationship with Him as well.

I also love to sing, dance, and play the flute.

I am primarily a stay-at-home Mom but do go out for five hours a week to clean offices and sell

my crafts when I can.

It is an answer to my prayers to be a wife and mother. I love long slow walks holding my husband's hand and watching my daughter learning something or seeing something for the first time and seeing her face light up with joy.
